Youth Leadership Fellowship
Over the course of ten months, the New Orleans Youth Alliance (NOYA) Youth Leadership Fellowship prepares young people to assume leadership roles in the design, decision-making and implementation phases of systems, programs and initiatives impacting youth and their families in New Orleans.

Jamya Clark
Age: 19

Jamya is a freshman at Southern University at New Orleans majoring in pre-nursing. Jamya serves as the SUNO Freshman Senator for 2023-2024 and is the youngest person to complete AlignED’s P.E.P. program. She is passionate about addressing uncomfortable topics and fostering open dialogue.
Yasmín Yamilet Falcón Morales
Age: 21

Yasmín is a junior at Tulane University double majoring in sociology and Latin American studies with a minor in studio arts. She is an alumna of the Dream Summer fellowship, Emerson Collective, and ALAS’s Aspire Youth Fellowship. She is passionate about healing through love, community, and art.
Ka’sha Fenceroy

Ka’sha is a second-year anthropology major at the University of New Orleans. Ka’sha is dedicated to serving their community and providing safe spaces for queer youth through Trans Queer Youth NOLA.
Michael Harrison
Age: 18
Pronouns: he/him
A senior at New Orleans Science and Math High School, Michael is a business certificate holder, a cross-country state runner, and a soccer player. Fluent in French, Spanish, Q’eqch’i, and English, he aspires to merge his interests in political science and civil engineering to make a global impact. He also dreams of owning a French restaurant someday.
Nala Henderson

Nala Henderson is a graduate of Warren Easton High School. She's a winner of the Film Prize Junior Founder’s Circle award for her short documentary “Marwan's Suit,” which follows the flagboy of the Golden Eagles Masking Indian tribe as he constructs the suit he will wear for Mardi Gras. Nala holds a certification in Adobe Illustrator and is passionate about crafting, drawing, making things, and gardening.
Aiden Houston

Aiden is senior at The Living School. He has been excelling in advanced classes since his freshman year and needs only two credits to graduate. He is most passionate about his family and achieving economic freedom.
Joshua Jordan

Joshua is a junior at L.B. Landry High School and recipient of the honor student attendance award. Joshua is a talented tuba player and proud member of his high school marching band. He is passionate about launching his clothing brand, supporting his family, and empowering his peers.
Reign LaCour
Age: 20
Pronouns: she/her
Reign is a graduate of Delgado Community College. Through her extensive involvement with Daughters Beyond Incarceration, Reign received the Women in Leadership Award from the Sheriff's office earlier this year. She is dedicated to making impactful changes based on the needs of children and youth.
Courtney Nero

Courtney is the founder of Camp Cimo, a sleep away camp for women that offers a plethora of engaging and hands-on classes. Courtney is passionate about creating safe and encouraging spaces for women to connect with nature.
Emily Osorio Quintos
Age: 17

Emily is a senior at Frederick A. Douglass High School and attends Bard Early College in New Orleans. She's an honor student, Bard Early College Student Body President, an Aspen Challenge participant, and a member of Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s Youth Advisory Council. She is passionate about advocating for underrepresented communities and driving societal change.
Morgan Prevost

Morgan Prevost is a sophomore at Loyola University New Orleans studying graphic design and finance. Morgan has participated in YAYA’s arts programs for years, BLERDFEST! 2024, and several initiatives throughout the city that focus on bridging community and art. She is passionate about creativity and personal growth.
